Character Building Workshop

Saturday, Dec 5, 2026 @ 10:00 AM EST • $37.38 (includes fees)

Description
Registration opens Friday, November 6th at 7:00am!

One of the best ways to create engaging improv scenes is to build characters that feel fully alive. Using playful exercises designed for both beginner and experienced improvisers, we will experiment with physicality, vocal choices, and identifying inner/outer wants. Whether your style is big and bold or calm and thoughtful, this workshop will give you the chance to practice creating a range of characters that feel dynamic, compelling, and most of all fun.

Prerequisite: Improv 1

Katharine Daube teaches Improv 2 and Long Form Scenework.  She currently performs with Charmed, The Silver Lining, Pickpockets, and Mustardseed.  She has fallen for improv because of its emphasis on community, growth, collaboration, and general silliness.
