Over the course of six weeks, students will learn the Brainrot format which is a style that takes inspiration from TikTok culture and transforms it into fast-paced, high-energy scene work including an “IRL Doomscroll.” We’ll focus on clear initiations, collaborative stage pictures, effective space-sharing, strong justifications and mapping, and developing first and second beats.

This class is ideal for students and performers who want to strengthen their ability to bring grounded logic to absurd premises and embrace playful absurdity in their shows.

*Kickstand's improv track is a five-level program followed by Advanced Study, where students can learn and apply their skills to different formats. Each week of class builds on the previous one, and each Level builds on the Level before.

*Advanced Study includes 6 weeks of instruction with 2 and a half hours of instruction each week and two class shows!
