Join Rick for a 3-week advanced improv bootcamp focused on strengthening the fundamentals that make scenes feel real, connected, and worth watching. This is not a beginner class. It is for improvisers who already have experience and are ready to do deeper, more disciplined scene work.

This isn’t about chasing laughs or firing off clever lines. It’s about listening, responding truthfully, and building scenes with weight, stakes, and clear relationships. The work is slower, more intentional, and focused on what actually makes scenes work.

Through targeted exercises and focused scene work, you’ll dig into the core elements of strong improvisation: relationship, point of view, emotional connection, and authentic reactions. You’ll learn how to trust your instincts, stay present, and let the humor come from honest behavior instead of forcing it.

Each class builds on the previous one, so taking all three is recommended for the full experience. That said, each session is designed to stand on its own, so you can take one, two, or all three.

Prerequisite: At least one year of improv experience is required. If you are still learning basic game, agreement, or support, this class is not the right fit yet.
