For the Culture is a Black History Month event series created by Black students and performers from Station Theater, celebrating Black-led comedy and creative expression. The series takes place on Saturday, February 28 at Station Theater, located in Houston’s 5th Ward Cultural Arts District, a historic center for Black music, art, and storytelling that continues to shape the city’s creative voice.
Presented in this culturally significant neighborhood, For the Culture connects contemporary performance to a long tradition of creative leadership rooted in community and place.
