WHEN: SIX Tuesdays, from July 7th - August 11th
SHOW: Our student showcase will be in early-August
COST: from $220, payment plans available
AGES: Suitable for ages 15+
SIZE: No more than 12 students per class
OPEN TO: Only those who've completed our Foundations level class or an equivalent intro class at another improv school
MUST: Read & agree to our studio policies prior to registration

Our Intermediate & Advanced Workshop focuses on developing and then refining core improvisation skills directly and organically. We'll learn to use key skills from the worlds of acting, comedy, psychology, and even meditation to help deepen your awareness WHILE you're improvising.

In addition to what David mentions in the video above, our curriculum also touches on:
- Discovering/Leaning into relationships during scene work
- Learning and developing story awareness
- Allowing & discovering versus forcing ideas or comedy
- Learning the difference between "Primary" & "Secondary" characters
- Stagecraft and the basics of stage directions
- When and why to use various types of entrances, exits, and edits
- Developing compelling characters
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
David Koff is the Founder of Change Through Play and has been a professional actor and improviser for 30 years. He's improvised with Ray Romano, Jon Lovitz, Fred Willard, The Kids in the Hall, Mindy Sterling, Lynne Stewart, and others. When he's not on stage or screen, he uses improvisation to help train actors, business leaders, educators, and recovering addicts.
