This series runs Mondays, 7-9pm, from September 8th to October 27th!
Our Foundation series is geared for students who are new to improvisation. This series welcomes people from all backgrounds, both creative and non-creative, so no acting or performing skills are ever required: just a desire to have fun, trust your instincts, and learn new ways to communicate and collaborate!
Through participation you'll learn that the meditative art of Improvisation is a powerful and joyous way to learn new life skills. There's a reason the word "play" is in our name! Play is at the root of how we continue to learn new skills as adults.
WHEN: 8 MONDAY nights, 7-9pm beginning September 8th
COST: from $200 - choose 4, 6, or all 8 classes
AGES: Suitable for ages 15+
SIZE: Classes capped at 10 students
PREREQUISITES: None! Beginners are welcome!

We not only want our students to learn the core skills of improvisation, but we also want them to improve their skills over their time with us. - Although not for this mini-cycle, we offer flexible class options so students can purchase the number of classes that suits their schedule
- Coaching and check-ins during & after each game to help make sure you've understood the breakthroughs
- Blackboard discussions during class when necessary to help visual and analytical learners
- Closing every class with students recognizing their own wins
- Receiving highly personalized notes via email from your teacher celebrating your wins during the class series & recommending skills to work on when you come back for another class with us.
- Participating - for those that wish! - in our student showcases
- Receiving and reviewing vids & pics from our showcase as keepsakes and learning tools
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Natasha von Salza studied improvisation under Mary Pat McCoy at Change Through Play, before going on to study under its Founder, David Koff in his Advanced Lab series, where she continues to study, develop, and refine her long-form improvisation practice and knowledge. Her focus in the art and practice of improvisation is “Walking into the unknown”. Natasha’s kind spirit and playful demeanor invites continual growth, laughter, and excellence from all participants.
