Hey all,
We're a nonprofit theatre with 30 years of operations in Metro Detroit. We've been in the news and mentioned by folks like Keegan Michael Key, Tim Robinson, Sam Richardson, Marc Evan Jackson, and Jamie Moyer.

We do classes in Improv, Sketch, Stand Up, Burlesque, Clown and more. We have shows almost every night of the week.

We've been working hard this year to make up for some losses in the grant department.

Personally, I worked with Second City Detroit for a while, wrote a bunch of plays, improvised like crazy, taught lots and lots of comedy, and am helping manage this amazing theatre.

Hi Mike, great to have you on CrowdWork! I actually just watched the Detroiter's episode where they filmed at Planet Ant. It was very cool to see it on screen.

I didn't know Second City had a Detroit outpost either. Read more about it on a link I found: https://improvarchive.org/companies/the-second-city-detroit. Bummer it shut down.

Hi Mike! I just moved nearer to you! I moved to Riverview to be closer to family. Matthew and I were watching The Detroiters just the other week and got super giddy when we recognized Planet Ant in the "Quick Rick Mahorn in Dearborn" episode.

I haven't fully dipped my toes into the improv scene in Michigan, but I will soon, and I bet we'll get the chance to meet each other in person!

FYI - I played the gorilla in Detroiters. My biggest credit on camera and my face is covered. lol.
